Description
This course aims to develop the learners understanding of the value of outdoor play for children’s learning and development as well as enable learners to contribute to supporting children’s outdoor play within the work setting.
Course Duration
3 hours over 12 weeks.
Location
Afan College, Brecon Beacons College, Neath College and Newtown College.

None.

This course is suitable for anyone including teachers, parents, support assistants, nursery nurses, youth workers, artists, community workers, and carers looking to develop their knowledge of outdoor play for children.
Course Content
This course covers the following topics:
- Understand the importance of outdoor play for children’s learning and development
- Be able to contribute to supporting children’s outdoor play
- Be able to evaluate own contribution to children’s outdoor play

Discussion and an assignment.
