Level 3 NVQ Diploma In Insulation And Building Treatments (Construction)
Description
This course enables delegates to demonstrate and recognise their skills, knowledge, understanding, and competence in a real workplace environment, to allow work as an insulation and building treatments operative within the construction industry. All work must be completed following industry recognised safe working practices and in accordance with relevant legislation.

Successful delegates gain the opportunity to progress in a wide range of building maintenance and treatment, and insulation roles particularly focusing on different types of wall insulation.

Entry Requirements
To undertake any NVQ, delegates will need to have prior knowledge of the chosen qualification you are looking to achieve. To achieve the qualification delegates will be assessed against a set of criteria in the work environment.
Delegates must:
- Have experience in their chosen area of skill.
- Have basic level of literacy.
- Be in some form of employment or have access to an observable working situation.
- Basic IT skills may be required but is not essential.

- Confirming work activities and resources for an occupational work area in the workplace
- Developing and maintaining good occupational working relationships in the workplace
- Confirming the occupational method of work in the workplace
- Conforming to general health, safety and welfare in the workplace
- Insulation and building treatments building construction, defects and interfaces
Pathway 1 Room in Roof
- Installing internal insulation to walls in the workplace
- Installing insulation to framed sections of buildings in the workplace
- Injecting, blowing or spraying insulation to framed sections of buildings in the workplace
- Installing insulation to cold roofs in the workplace
- Installing blown insulation to cold roofs in the workplace
- Develop customer relationships
- Installing insulation to create warm roofs in the workplace
- Spraying insulation to create warm roofs in the workplace
Pathway 2 Park Homes
- Installing external wall insulation (EWI Boarder) in the workplace
- Park homes insulation
- Installing insulation to suspended floors in the workplace
- Spraying insulation to suspended floors in the workplace
- Installing insulation to cold roofs in the workplace
- Installing blown insulation to cold roofs in the workplace
- Develop customer relationships
Pathway 3 Hybrid Wall
- Installing external wall insulation (EWI Boarder) in the workplace
