DVSA Category C Licence (Rigid Vehicle)

The DVSA Category C Licence enables delegates to drive rigid LGV vehicles professionally within the logistics and transport sector. 
 
This course provides full support from the initial medical stage through theory preparation and practical training. Learners will progress through medical assessment, DVLA provisional application, theory revision, theory testing, practical training, and their final DVSA test. 
 
This structured pathway provides a clear, step‑by‑step route into LGV driving with strong opportunities for career development.

Entry Requirements
Delegates must:
  • Be 18 years of age or older
  • Be medically fit
  • Hold a valid car driving licence
 
Progression Opportunities
Successful delegates gain access to a range of roles in logistics and transport, including: Rigid LGV driving, Local and regional delivery work, Warehousing-to-driving career pathways, Traffic office, and transport operations roles. 
 
Delegates may also progress on to  the DVSA Category C+E (Articulated Lorry) Licence.
