Food Safety in Catering - Who should attend:

Anybody who handles food, including the general public, particularly those working in kitchens or undertaking front-line duties in preparing, processing or retailing food. The emphasis of this qualification is placed on the correct handling of ‘high risk’ food

RSPH Level 2 Award  - Qualification Detail:

At the end of the RSPH Level 2 Award - Food Safety in Catering course, the student will have a knowledge and understanding of the importance of food hygiene, associated food hazards, good hygiene practice and controls based upon an awareness of food safety management systems. This is important in understanding and maintaining good practice in the handling, processing and preparation of safe food

Food Safety in Catering - Course Content:

A multiple choice test comprising 30 short answer questions must be successfully completed by the student at the end of the course in order to obtain the RSPH Level 2 Award - Food Safety in Catering certification.
