This course covers general principles of Manual Handling issues, good practice, effective communication skills and working within the HSE guidelines.
Summary of Outcomes:
Avoid hazardous manual handling operations so far as is reasonably practicable; Reduce the risk of injury so far as is reasonably practicable Understanding a “safe working system of work” when lifting equipment within a working environment Appreciation of risk assessments and identifying potential hazards regarding manual handling of equipment Risk Assessment – identifying and recording potential hazards H&S regulations and responsibilities with regards to manual handling
