Description

The Health & Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 require all employers to make arrangements to ensure their employees receive immediate attention if they are injured or taken ill at work. This includes carrying out risk assessments, appointing a suitable amount of first aiders and providing appropriate first aid training.
 
This course is for individuals who may need to provide first aid to someone who is injured or becomes ill at work. The course is suitable for small, low risk companies that require basic first aid cover, or for large high risk companies who require basic support for full first aiders. This course gives learners the skills and confidence to respond to a range of accidents and first aid emergencies that could occur in the workplace.

Who Should Attend?
All individuals who will subsequently act as emergency first aiders or anyone wanting a comprehensive one day first aid course.
 
Certification
A certificate will be awarded on successful completion of this course by a recognised awarding body. The certificate is valid for 3 years.
